Browser info: This vlog is best viewed using Mozilla Firefox, which can be downloaded for free at www.mozilla.com/firefox/ – It’s FAR, FAR better than Internet Explorer for most of your web browsing. Internet Explorer and others do work, but not very satisfactorily. Use Firefox!
ANYWAY… In addition to reading the City NewsHound, you can now view select photos and video clips of local events.
Just click on a photo to enlarge, an additional click to enlarge further if you see a “zoom” (magnifying glass with a “+”) icon, right click to download and save, left browser (back page) arrow to return to site.
To view videos, just click, sit back and enjoy! The video will play until completion, even if you play another one, so be sure to click on “pause” before starting to play another.
The still photo postings should all be fine, but some computers may not display the video “thumbnails”.
That’s okay. It works anyway. Just click on the “click to play” link to launch each video.
Also, be sure to scroll down all the way to the bottom to see if there are any additional pages of older content.
Finally, be sure to come to this site often, as we’ll be adding new postings frequently.
ALSO, PLEASE NOTE… To try to make life a little easier for you, we’ve made the pages longer, so you can simply scroll, rather than having to click on “earlier entries” and “newer entries” to change pages. The only drawback is that it takes longer to initially load the page, which should really not be a problem unless you’re way too low on memory or still on dial-up. If so, you may as well read a good book, wash your car, make dinner, go to a movie (or something) while the page is loading.
Also, you can now post comments directly onto each item at this site. (Be careful what you say, as they will be monitored.)
